Not only she dates Harry Potter, she is a wizard (or is it th e other way around?). Her name is Cho Chang, and will be played by Katie Leung in the upcoming Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (4th of the Harry Potter series.) This is good, This is arguably the biggest Asian role in the major motion pictures. She’s about to become the most famous Asian to kids in the whole world. Here is her interview at AA Village.

Though sadly, she has become target for racially motivated hate websites (link1, link2, link3, link4) from stupid jealous teenage female admirers of Daniel Radcliffe (who plays Harry in the movie). Some are questioning (or even “outraged”) that the character was created out of stereotype. She “rarely speaks throughout the entire book series,” and is light skinned, skinny, smart, pretty and popular — that is stereotype of Asians? Well, that is not so bad, we have come long way since buckteeth, squinting-eye, thick glasses of “Mr. Yunioshi” — as played by Mickey Rooney, who is white — in Breakfast at Tiffany’s.
