A perfect stranger
I just read a book called Dinner with a Perfect Stranger, and it was great. The book is very easy to read, a page turner. The main character, Nick, gets a invitation to have dinner with “Jesus of Nazareth.” he thinks its a prank, and skeptical, but goes to meet him anyway. I like reading book that is written in first person. Most of Haruki Murakami’s books are written that way. Speaking of which, he spoke today at MIT and I tried to go but there was a mob of people there and couldn’t get in… (Actually I got in but couldn’t find a seat and got kicked out. It was really poor planning on MIT’s part and security was pretty mean!)
Speaking of faith, there was a really interesting article about Evangelical Christians in the Red Sox clubhouse. I want to be a good person. I really do. I want to be worthy of God’s love and my family and friend’s love. And always be thankful of what I have. 如己愛人 . Remember what Takashi Nagai would say.
