So, who is this Scott Boras dude, I hear his name a lot now. I know he is the bad guy who did A-Rod’s quoter billion dollar deal, but really, who is he? I found an interesting article from 2001 slate Scott Boras, Motherhood, and Apple Pie. Boras was a minor-league ballplayer, played four seasons in the Chicago Cubs and St. Louis Cardinals organizations.

It’s interesting considering back in 1989 (That’s not that long ago) a 10-time all star, a Hall of fame, Kirby Puckett was highest paid player at $3 mil a year. History of highest-paid players. Now a days a $3 Mil will get you… mmm Paul Quantrill? Middle releaver for NY Yankees. Go figure.
