EUC-JP to UTF-8 conversion

Howto convert EUC-JP encoding Japanese text document to UTF-8

nkf -w filename.txt > filename.utf8.txt

nkf is Network Kanji Filter and it is maintained at SourceForge Japan. Man page is here
