Doh! Japanese Baseball Team lost to Australia in the Olympics semi….
This is a heart breaker… Really. Daisuke Matsuzaka pitched really well, but lost 0-1. Word is that (I am sure this is a biased report) Australia was concentrating in meeting Japan in Semi - instead of Cuba, so they didn’t care about the game against Canada in the last game of preliminary (lost 11-0) … Australia was the only team to beat the top-seed Japan in the preliminary. More on that stuff. It is disappointing. This was Japanese version of the “Dream Team”, everyone wanted them to win Gold. Win it for Mr. Baseball, Nagashima. Oh well. This is the second heart break after Inoue didn’t make any medals.. I am still shocked about that.

Update: Japan smokes Canada 11-3. Get bronze.
