Kids songs
Baby and I listen to this album, “Songs I Heard” by Harry Connick Jr.. Its pretty good, kids songs from classics like Mary Poppins, Wizard of Oz, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, and Annie done in Big Band style. Songs include Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious, Oompa Loompa, A Spoonful of Sugar, The Jitter bug Mary old land of Oz The Lonely Goatherd and songs form Annie is in there. What a good idea. I’ve also discovered National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences has a database of kids Sing-Along Songs. Anyone want to start a band that sings kids songs in jazz/big band style that play, say, on Saturdays at a park or places like Babys-R-Us and Boston Baby? There might be a good audience built in, if done tastefully. Hey guys like the Wiggles gets attraction in that kids entertainment department… Well I’m happy because Supercali… stops Jonathan from crying…
