Road to wireless-less-less
I bought new battery for my laptop… it is pretty awesome. I can now go couples of hours without power cable. Now I need to really fix my wireless situation (past related posting 1 and 2). After googling a few hours I found linux-wlan.org’s list of wireless card that is reported to work with linux. From this list I found the cheapest one that uses Prism Chipset (I guess that is what works on Linux) and it happened to be made by Microsoft (802.11b MN-520 PCMCIA card) . Isn’t it ironic?
Also I have been doing a bit of work on my server, got php working and just installed awstats running. I just need to figure out how to run a cron.
Also found a site for MythTV on Fedora Howto I would like to build one but I need to find a video card…
