Happy Super Tuesday

And congrats to John Kerry, I’ve always liked him. He was a speaker for my graduation… There is even a official blog. Not surprising I guess.
So, I saw Passion. As a catholic geek, I read gospel passion story before I went. The movie did get a lot of things right, but I wasn’t crazy about that there were few obvious “editorials” in there, such as Judus’ death, the bad thief gets picked by the crow and that devil or satan figure. I thought it was way too much graphical violence, I think it could have left similar impression without the blood gushing out so much, like the way schindler’s list was. All and all I think it is a good thing that gets people thinking about the passion story, but I don’t know if I would really recommend it to anyone, especially if the person is not christian, I rather have study stations of the cross, but certainly the impact is much different… For starter, In the movie Jesus falls a lot more than three times…Anyway.
This Perl class is kicking my butt… I think I am going to fail, don’t have time to do the homework. Very cool stuff, though. I want to write a script that gathers daily stats update for all the Japanese baseball players for my site. That would be a very cool and executable project. Make it a cron job that runs everyday at night or something.
