Tips on Text Pad (memo to myself)

As I blogged here before, I think when you have to use Windows, Text Pad is a very good text editor that can handle double bites languages for only about $30. This is a memo that I am writing to myself so I don’t have to click on every tab every time I open it. To highlight xml/xsl/fos files using html syntax, go View -> Document Properties and click on Syntax tab, click on “Enable syntax highlighting” and set “Syntax definition file” to html.syn.
If you want to apply this automaticly, go Configure -> Preferences, Select Document Classes -> HTML. Add *.XML, *.XSL, *.FOS in “Files in class HTML”. While you are in there, it is also useful to turn on word wrap.
