I got this e-mail from Red Hat saying Red Hat does not plan to release another product in the Red Hat Linux line, and I thought Oh No! Not Red Hat! But more I learn about this move, I’m happy. There now is going to be a new Fedora Project which is a open source community-based project, much like Mozilla is to NetScape. I am going to watch it closely and when they come out with stable version, I think I am going to go ahead and upgrade my machines.
In the meanwhile, a bit old news but Apple released Panther but $130? that’s a little steep, won’t you say? It is pretty cool, little thing like mail now supports thread and better x11 support.
Mmmm what computer should I buy next…
