I saw Bend it like Beckham. I went to see it without knowing what that was, right before the movie I learned that David Beckham is a soccer player. I had no idea. I don’t even like soccer, but the movie was excellent. Good photography/editing and interesting story, which was maybe somewhat predictable, but the characters were likeable and could pull it off. I’d recommend it. Monsoon Wedding meets, well, The Rookie? or Rudy?”Dreaming” part is the same, even though it is in totally different context. That’s what I think. I feel like the main character about baseball sometimes, except I am not good… :(

Also saw About Schmidt. And was also good. Nickolson wasn’t mean and scary as usual. He reminded me of a guy who lived very boring life in the Japanese movie After Life. That is another excellent movie. My highest recommendation.
