WE GOT A DOGGIE!

Well, he’s not here yet, we got some paper work we have to fill with the shelter and we’ll probably get him on Monday.

He’s a totally handsome dog. He’s a Springer Spaniel mix, but his ear is not as big and floppy. We are guessing he’s got some Brittany in him. Both of breeds are very nice. Here’s another Springer Spaniel and Brittany link by American Kennel Club. He was a stray dog from San Juan, Puerto Rico, so they don’t know much about him, including his real age, though it is guessed at 2 and half. He looks very small. I am very excited about it! I will be going to training school with him. We need to pick out a name, get stuff for him etc. etc.

I am reading The Good Life. It is very good book for giving your dog the good life and one of author’s homepage has good dog training resources. And I love that he says: “Never hit or yell at your dog. He’ll love you for it!” Couldn’t agree with him more.
