I am back from Key West. It was good. But I hate American Airlines! I don’t want to get in the detail (because I don’t want to be reminded of it) but here it is in three words: Seven-Hours Delay

The Key West was celebrating 21st Conch Republic Independent day. A long story short:

In 1982, as a protest to US’s border patrol blockage in the Florida Keys, “proclaimed aloud that the Conch Republic was an independent nation separate from the US” and declared war on US, surrendered, and applied for 1 Billion dollars in foreign aid and War Relief to rebuild the nation

I love it. it is genius. Also went to such touristy spots like Ernest Hemingway’s house and Southern Most Point. I am now reading Hemingway’s Old Man and The Sea. It’s good. My wife’s brother, Tommy, is living on the boat and wants to ride it up the coast, into the Charles River to Watertown next year. That would be way too cool. And I bet he is going to do it.

Found this on Source Forge: PHP/MySQL driven program called SoftballStats. Awesome. I am definitely going to use it this season. I love Source Forge and it’s open source community!
