It is great that so

It is great that so many talented Japanese Baseball Players, such as Ichiro and Matsui are now playing here, but at the same time it always has been concern for some who loves Japanese Professional Baseball. Some fear that JPB is becoming just another minor league for MLB. Then I read this article, Japanese baseball in a panic, and even the umpires are suffering

Yes, Japan’s financial woes are serious and even the little guys are being hurt… the umpires… who get booed by the fans, beaten by the coaches and managers, and now are getting almost less than subsistence pay… on March 5, umpires union announced it “may” strike from Opening Day on March 28…

Now that sucks.

On a serious note: Japan will back the US Resolution on Iraq then North Korea criticizes and test-fires a surface-to-ship missile. Please, peace.
