Here’s my weekend in review.
Saturday: Walked around Charles River and went to BJLUG meeting in chinatown, Super good “nabe” style food at “Peking Cusine”, which was great. Good recommendation all around (don’t get “hot” nabe, medium hot is hot enough for me) There, I announced a new BJLUG homepage design (Japanese only) Sunday: Church then Japanese Association of Greater Boston (JAGB) New Years Party. Saw Tiger Okashi Quintet, and I was impressed. He did impression of “New Years Song” “Kojo no Tsuki” which I like the version that Thelonious Monk plays. They are very refined musicians. After that, I cooked yakisoba for our dinner. Then went and saw a play about refugee (Good, but little over my head…) and went out for a drink at a bar called 21 Nichols.

There are so many things I want to write about. Here is the list.

• About Godzilla Matsui About every other person that I conversed this weekend wanted to know what I thought about Matsui. In fact, I have opinion.
• War Everyone is talking about it, unfortunately. One word: PEACE
• Weather It’s friggin’ cold.
• Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and minority issues
• Tampa Bay vs Oakland Super bowl
• Yao vs. Shaq: 108-104
