After struggling for a while, I found that Google Reader is one of the best tools to keep being updated on the go. This is how I read news on Windows Mobile-based T-Mobile Shadow (awesome community site at AllShadows.com). Key is to be selective on what you subscribe. It can be easily out of hand. SItes like MLBTradeRumors is awesome but they update A LOT. I usually wake up and open Google Reader and easily have close to 300 updates. One way that I found good way to manage is to create a second Google account for mobile-phone use, separated from your desktop use that have subscribed everything, (or I guess you could create a folder), and use Yahoo Pipes to make really refined RSS (only permit certain writer, category or perhaps keywords on the headline/description) and subscribed to that filtered RSS.
Following is a copy of text from my mobile website. I’m moving contents here because I’ve decided not to renew its domain.
