I am “for” handshake

My wife forwarded me this article in the Globe. Shake hands first, pupils urge sport’s biggest rivals by Douglas Belkin.

Fifth- and sixth-graders from Acton, MA is trying to get the Yankees and Red Sox to shake hands just before Fenway’s Opening Day game on April 11. It’s cute. I like it. I am “for” the handshake. But there is a rule against the handshake. Rule 3.09 of the official playing rules: Players of opposing teams shall not fraternize at any time while in uniform. Interesting. I hope they do it.
