Welcome…
...to Daigo’s Daily Digital Diorama. This is utterly useless online journal (yes, that was what it was originally called before term "blog") that I've been keeping since 2002. Since it is ".org," my wife once called it a nonprofit nonsense. I use this blog mostly about baseball, and being Japanese man in America. Wondering who the heck Daigo is?

Multimedia howto
My friend Tim told me about this web tool: Embedded Media HTML Generator. Awesome on-line tool that can generate appropriate “embed” tags for Real Media, Quick Time, Windows Media, and Flash. How awesome is that!

Superhero?
For my work, I wrote a little personal blog piece about baseball steroid issue. The not-so-super baseball superheroes. Enjoy! Speaking of superhero, I saw The Incredibles. It was one of the best animated film I’ve seen. I enjoyed it very much.
Cool WordPress Hacks
The new version of WordPress does everything. It is pretty crazy. Take, for example, wp-plugin-mgr. It is a kick ass plugin that let you add plugin via web interface. Whoa. The not-so-super baseball superheroes
Imagine a skinny, little 15-year-old boy from a suburb in Japan coming to the United States for the first time in his life. For summer vacation. It was his first time away from his mom and dad, and one of the first times he would even leave his hometown alone for an extended time. He [...]

I am “for” handshake
My wife forwarded me this article in the Globe. Shake hands first, pupils urge sport’s biggest rivals by Douglas Belkin. Fifth- and sixth-graders from Acton, MA is trying to get the Yankees and Red Sox to shake hands just before Fenway’s Opening Day game on April 11. It’s cute. I like it. I am “for” [...]
The Boston Korean
I found this article in SAMPAN. There is a Korean Weekly newspaper in the town now called “The Boston Korean.” This is great. Congratulations to Myong Chang! Reading this article made me think of a play I saw a few years ago. I saw a production of “The Sisters Matsumoto” (by Philip Kan Gotanda) at [...]

And there is C|Net and its Buying [...]

Doris Matsui
Late Congressman Robert Matsui‘s wife Doris Matsui won California’s District 5 seat Thursday. She became the “first Asian Pacific American woman outside of Hawai’i to serve in Congress†and “the only Asian Pacific American woman currently serving in the House of Representatives.†Not that becoming first is what’s important, but it is a good thing [...]

Upgrading phpBB
I have been using phpBB for my Japanese site’s messaging board system. In fact I have been customizing the heck out of it. (The biggest change that I made of all is it uses utf-8 encoding instead of shift-jis or euc encoding) But it was came to my attention that the version I use has [...]
