Loving Xemacs

From the happy-computing department: I am using my home server’s xemacs via X11 on Mac at work using planner mode and loving it. What a awesome way to take notes ect… I need to study more xemacs though. There are SO much you can do. I now need to figure out how to hook that up to address book.

One more thing. Why is the fonts so ugly on xemacs? I need to look into changing it. Ideally, I want it to look good on both when I am connecting from Mac or Linux. Additions:a bit of japanese font info Font-Howto, also this ML thread and this ML thread mayt be able to help me.

From the sad-and-frustrated-about-my-computer department: my new server has not yet set up. and my Mac OS X is having multiple kernel panics. I tried install debian on my new server, but somehow it doesn’t recognize the Serial ATA drive as my main hard drive… I want to burn the CD of new Fedora Core 3 CD but while downloadiung and burning, my G4 crashes… It has been really frustrating. Ugh!
