Every Friday is “let’s set-up my server” day

I’ve tied RHEL 3 and noticed there aren’t much public help (duh!) so now I have installed Fedora Core 3. So far so good. This was the first time I’ve attempted installing OS from DVD… and it’s awesome. Don’t have to pause at “Please Insert Disk 3″ everytime. Pretty nice installation experience. (Well, having a blazing fast computer helps… 2GHz Athlon XP w/ 1GB RAM.) … little things like FireFox and Thunderbird in the included packages … I am setting up yum now (which was in default installation). Very useful links about /etc/yum.conf and PGP signature. Now need to do Java so I can install Streamsicle. Then planner then start moving webserver and files… Still have long way to go till I’m done…
