80-20 to endorse Kerry

80-20 Initiative, a unique cyberspace national nonpartisan Political Action Committee of Asian Americans, anounced its endorsement of John Kerry for presidential election 2004. But with reservation. 80-20 blog explains why.

“if you want Asiam Americans’ votes and money, you need to earn it. No more free lunch!”

80-20 considers such issues as Executive Order 11246 and Howard Coble’s comment about internment camp.

Well, I would have voted for Kerry anyway and it’s not like it makes any difference here in Massachusetts (A safe blue state, especially for Kerry), but it is nice to see those organization working to make better lives of Asian Americans. And I fully support it.

AreYourRegistered.com is anther site that is not-for-profit, nonpartisan web campaign that seeks to educate, empower and equip Asian Americans towards greater political participation. I am so into politics lately… Can’t wait for tomorrow’s VP debate
