what do I want to be? There was a talk by The Boston Globe’s Richard Chacon sponsored by ASNE Friday, and it was very good. I was lucky to have heard what he had to say. He has had a interesting career, worked as a radio reporter, TV reporter, political speech writer, graduate school student, and then ended up in print journalism. While he embraces print media, he remain open to new media, perhaps because of his variety of career path, which is great, My career has been kind of all over the place, but I would love to find a profession that I could use my skills and passion, as well as my variety of experience and ultimately work for a organizational mission that is “good.” I do need to grow up, too, though. (Even though I am pushing 30…)
