The Catch Up

I was not able to update this blog thanks to my home server’s by-weekly nervous breakdown. After number of reboots, without any noticable explanation of what happened it fixed itself. Oh Great. I don’t know how to fix it if it happens again. But here I go, here is what has happened while the server was gone.
Spring training is here, and new owner is around. Pretty exciting. THIS IS THE YEAR, right John Henry?
I went to Chinatown for Dim Sum, Saturday. If you like the food, it’s cheap and you’ll be very full. I was finaly able to see Kikujiro, a film by Takeshi Kitano. I have heard mix reviews for it (was nominated for cannes) and wasn’t sure but I really enjoyed it. Very odd, twisted black comedy with sort of nice ending. Unlike his other movies it is not violent but his cinematography(?) is still there. Lots of silence, lots of blank space. Sort of Haiku in the movie. I still think “Fire Works” is better one by Kitano.
Worked on my MySQL/PHP programing on japaneseballplayers.com. It doesn’t look good but it does what I wanted it to do. It’s getting there…
Went to skiing Today. Was very good. Crowded. I had good time though. I can tell my whole body is going to be sore tomorrow.
Had dinner at Demo’s. Man it’s cheap. It’s good. We both were full and it cost us about $12. I’d recommend the Lamb kabob. Yum.
Physical Therapy, work and school starts again tomorrow. Back to my-normal-busy-self.

  • Welcome…

...to Daigo’s Daily Digital Diorama. This is utterly useless online journal (yes, that was what it was originally called before term "blog") that I've been keeping since 2002. Since it is ".org," my wife once called it a nonprofit nonsense. I use this blog mostly about baseball, and being Japanese man in America. Wondering who the heck Daigo is?
